This Virginia Highland kitchen needed updating. The homeowners were looking for a more open space to enjoy their family and a love of cooking.

The footprint remains relatively small but character and charm has been infused at every turn. A beach glass inspired backsplash and soft colors create a mellow atmosphere and custom brackets and wood trim evokes a vintage cottage.

The kitchen is opened to the family room and views of the backyard. A family desk and command center was added as well. Truly the heart of this home.
