Home ReBuilders was approached by Coke to enter a design/build contest to house their new FreeStyle machines in freestanding outside structures. These mini-buildings needed to be both attractive, secure, and built to take the punishment of theme park visitors and local condition. We were up against some giants in the kiosk industry and we prevailed. Our design/build solution was selected because we took a high tech approach of wrapping anodized aluminum skins over an all-aluminum structure. It was designed to be modular and easily shipped anywhere on the continent and erected by our crews on location with simple hand tools and a lift. We designed for the local wind, temperature and seismic conditions and included the lighting, plumbing, HVAC and telecommunication systems. We were able to stretch our creative sides and develop these units with our residential construction experience and apply our skills to a commercial application.
